Council Bluffs, Iowa – September 20, 2010 – WHO Radio Host Steve Deace invited Democrat Incumbent Michael Mauro and Republican Candidate Matt Schultz to discuss the Secretary of State Race on his radio show on October 6th.

In an email sent to both candidates on September 16th Steve Deace stated, "The format would be I will ask the first couple of questions, and then let each of you ask each other questions with 2 minutes to respond the rest of the time."

"I want to thank WHO Radio and Steve Deace for inviting my opponent and I to debate these important issues. I accept Mr. Deace’s invitation. I am looking forward to asking my opponent why he opposes requiring everyone to show a Photo ID before they vote at the polls," said Councilman Matt Schultz.
