Well we have Speaker Nancy Pelosi who thinks they are neo-Nazis. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) thinks they are too well dressed. The DNC is calling those who are showing up at different townhall meetings as a mob and yeah they are all part of the birther movement… racists!
And here is the photographic evidence!
Be sure to see the rest of the proof. (Shudder) By the way, don’t forget to be a patriot and turn these people in!

@steve, You’re welcome!
Come on now. Let’s at least be Fair. Not every meeting has had the Representative leaving under police protection. But you can’t make a case that those folks aren’t out there, the photos ARE there. It’s not everyone. But it IS some. We need to be honest.
@Douglas Warren, No, being fair would be not referring to those attending these meetings as “mobs.” That was a gross mischaracterization.
The U.S. Code, Title 4, Chapter 1, Sec. 8(d) states, “The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery.”

@Strabo, Actual flag material. Like I can’t take my flag down and make it into a shirt. It isn’t referring to an image of the flag.
@Shane Vander Hart, That’s incorrect. Proper flag protocol requires that a flag never be worn as apparel, which means precisely that, and includes wearing a shirt with a flag on it. Think about it, when you make an image of a flag, whatever it is printed on becomes “actual flag material.” A t-shirt is susceptible to getting dirty, thrown on the floor, trammeled, etc. Not the kind of thing a patriotic citizen does to the flag.
According to the National Flag Foundation, it is not recommended to “paint the flag on a surface on which people are going to… engage in activities or otherwise touch.” Flag lapel pins may be worn but only on the left lapel. Proper flag protocol is promulgated by the U.S. government and though it is not enforceable by legal sanctions (it is entirely voluntary, as a first amendment matter) it is essential to properly honor and patriotically display of the flag.
