Dr. Thomas E. Woods, Senior Fellow of History at the Mises Institute and author of the new book, Nullification: How to Resist Federal Tyranny in the 21st Century and of The Politically Incorrect Guide to American History, was recently at the Republican Party of Iowa’s “Celebrating the Constitution” Dinner on the eve of the state convention.  He preceded Congressman Ron Paul who was the keynote speaker.

In the video (I’ll post the video of his speech at the RPI dinner when it becomes available) below Woods explains the history of nullification in a video a couple of years old as he talks about the Principles of 98:

He explains it further in a rather unusual interview, and with Judge Andrew Napolitano on Fox News in a discussion on how it relates to Obamacare.  This is certainly a sound way that states can assert their rights under the 10th Amendment.
