No big surprise that former Governor Mitt Romney (R-MA) has announced forming a presidential exploratory committee.  Some (myself included) would say he never stopped running since 2008.  At least we know we’ll have one candidate in the race with really great hair.

Here is his video announcement below:

Announcing in New Hampshire and his lack of appearences in Iowa make me believe he will pretty much avoid the First in the Nation Caucus state.

That very well may be a good strategy at least for his pocketbook, if not for winning the nomination.

Update: Somehow I think that Romney would prefer not to get thank you cards from Iowa Democrats for RomneyCare.  I don’t know, just a hunch.  Just one example of why winning the Republican nomination will be extremely difficult for him.

  1. I will vote for Barack Obama if Romney is nominated. I refuse to let the Republican party take our choice away. Democrat vs. Democrat Lite is not a choice. NO MORE RINOS!

  2. Give me a break. This man has not one redeaming quality let alone any that would qualify him for the office. When will these morons learn they are being had? What has the current admin done to live up to their campaign promises? ZERO. And that’s exactly what you will get with establishment goons like Mit “Frankenstien” Romney; another government, corporate stooge dancing to the tune of the highest corporate bidder, hell bent on taking America over the cliff. Take back America, vote Ron Paul 2012.
