Iowa Prayer BreakfastDes Moines, IA – The 52nd annual Iowa Prayer Breakfast will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 7:15-8:45 a.m.  It will be held at the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center (formerly Veterans Memorial Auditorium) at 883 5th Avenue, Des Moines, IA  50309.  The purpose of the Iowa Prayer Breakfast is to bring together Iowa’s governor, state legislators, and community and religious leaders to join with the public to ask God’s direction and blessing upon the state.

Over 1,000 people have already registered for the Iowa Prayer Breakfast, surpassing registration numbers from previous years.  Individuals and sponsors are encouraged to register as soon as possible to secure a seat.

In addition to the Iowa Prayer Breakfast, an Iowa Prayer Breakfast Student Seminar will be held on Wednesday, March 27 from 7:30-9:00 p.m. at the Sheslow Auditorium, Drake University, 2507 University Ave., Des Moines.  There is no cost for the student event.  Students are asked to RSVP by March 25th to Dave Turnball atdturnball@fca.org or call 515-727-1868.  The keynote speaker will be Dr. Andy Bannister with comments from Dr. Ravi Zacharias.
