Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton talked to the New Hampshire Union-Leader about videos that have been released showing Planned Parenthood’s involvement in harvesting baby body parts, allegedly for profit.

They report:

“I have seen pictures from them and I obviously find them disturbing,” the Democratic presidential hopeful said during a sit-down interview Tuesday with the New Hampshire Union Leader.

“Planned Parenthood is answering questions and will continue to answer questions. I think there are two points to make,” Clinton said. “One, Planned Parenthood for more than a century has done a lot of really good work for women: cancer screenings, family planning, all kinds of health services. And this raises not questions about Planned Parenthood so much as it raises questions about the whole process, that is, not just involving Planned Parenthood, but many institutions in our country.”

“And if there’s going to be any kind of congressional inquiry, it should look at everything and not just one part of it,” she said…

…Clinton, long a supporter of abortion rights, was asked whether she is concerned the videos will jeopardize funding for abortion services and women’s health care. Funding today is at no more risk than it has been for years, she said.

“I’m well aware that passions are very high,” Clinton said. “I have said for more than 22 years that abortion should be legal, safe and rare. As First Lady, I led an effort to try to lower the number of teenage pregnancies and we succeeded, and as President I will continue to work toward that so that women are fully empowered, they can afford to make responsible decisions, and I hope we will be successful at that.”

Apparently Mrs. Clinton is disturbed by the videos, but not enough to actually call for tangible action.  As far as a congressional investigation what else does she expect to be investigated?  Sure go ahead and investigate that they received money for screenings most affiliates don’t actually do as if giving away condoms and selling birth control pills is akin to “women’s health.”  Go ahead and investigate all parties involved in scandal.

Then there needs to be tangible action, and that we can be sure wouldn’t happen in a Clinton administration.  She’s beholden to the abortion lobby having received money from them.  According to the Washington Free Beacon: “The former secretary of state collected nearly $10,000 from nine individuals who work for the country’s largest abortion provider, including from several high ranking executives at the billion-dollar operation.”

Republican presidential hopeful, U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) called on Clinton to return the money.

“If Hillary Clinton thinks that the Planned Parenthood videos are disturbing, she needs to explain to America why she won’t return funds raised from Planned Parenthood employees. She also needs to explain why she does not support my bill to defund the ‘disturbing,’ taxpayer-funded organization,” Paul said.

Paul joined U.S. Senators Joni Ernst (R-IA) and James Lankford (R-OK) filing a bill to defund Planned Parenthood.
