(Des Moines, IA) Former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA) held, as one of his campaign stops, a ā€œPints and Politicsā€ forum at Confluence Brewery in Des Moines, IA on Wednesday night.  A group gathered around three tables pushed together and participants around the table asked the 2012 Iowa Caucus winner different questions.  Santorum spent over an hour fielding questions while drinking a couple pints of Confluence’s Irish Stout.

The first question Santorum was asked was about Social Security:

Santorum received a couple of questions via their Periscope live stream of the event about legalizing marijuana and the space program:

Santorum was asked if he believed Christians had the right to fire a LGBT employee even if they ran a secular business:

Santorum was asked about his thoughts on the judiciary and where it is going.

Santorum was asked to explain why Iowans should caucus for him.

 He was asked to describe his foreign policy vision:

There were a number of people who sat down who were likely not registered Republicans.  One asked him about the concentration of wealth:

 Santorum was also asked about campaign finance reform.

 Santorum dsswas asked about single-payer health care (which she was in favor of):

Caffeinated Thoughts asked Santorum the last question of the evening about his support for the First Amendment Defense Act, and how he would protect religious liberty in general.
