(Winterset, IA) Dr. James Dobson interviewed U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) at a town hall event at The Winterset Stage. A standing-room-only crowd heard the popular radio host, author and psychologist asked Cruz about his faith, his fight for religious liberty, life and marriage, as well as, the role of the judiciary among other topics.

Dobson recently endorsed Cruz for President and joined him for several stops on the campaign’s “Cruzin to the Caucus” six day, 28 stop tour around Iowa this week.  Congressman Steve King (R-IA) and Bob Vander Plaats, CEO of The FAMiLY Leader, were also on hand and gave remarks prior to Cruz and Dobson taking the stage.

Cruz held a press gaggle before the event and he talked about his current tour of Iowa and some of the criticism that he has received.
