On Caffeinated Thoughts Radio this week, Jenna Ellis, a law professor at Colorado Christian University and fellow at the Centennial Institute, discussed Supreme Court nominee Judge Neil Gorsuch’s Senate confirmation hearing this week with co-hosts Shane Vander Hart and Brian Myers. They also discuss his comments about Roe v. Wade, and what it means to be an originalist.

The guys also discuss the terrorist attack that happened outside the Parliament Building in London. Plus FBI Director James Comey admits to what was already known, the FBI is conducting an investigation into alleged ties between the Russian government and the Trump campaign.

Also, the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee believes he has evidence of collusion between Russia and members of the Trump campaign that would be worthy of a grand jury.

The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Congressman Devin Nunes (R-California), doesn’t know for certain whether President Donald Trump or members of his transition team were even on the phone calls or other communications now being cited as partial vindication for the president’s wiretapping claims against the Obama administration.

Plus, State Senator Matt McCoy (D-Des Moines) found an opportunity to mock State Senator Jake Chapman’s (R-Adel) faith. Shane and Brian also discuss the Republican’s health care bill and President Trump’s ultimatum, the Iowa Senate pulled a bait and switch over traffic cameras, but they do pass the Voter ID bill. Also, the Des Moines Water Works saw their lawsuit against several NW Iowa counties dismissed.
