Brian Myers, a senior contributor here at Caffeinated Thoughts, and my co-host for Caffeinated Thoughts Radio has decided he will write-in former Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal’s name for President.

One year ago yesterday, Shane Vander Hart and I announced our joint endorsement of Gov. Bobby Jindal for President. My opinion of Gov. Jindal has not changed over the last year, and so today I would like to announce that I will be casting a write-in vote for him in tomorrow’s election. I have confidence that Bobby Jindal would make a great president. My reasons for that confidence are found in our endorsement from last year, and a link to that endorsement is posted below.
Anyone who has heard me on the radio for any length of time, or has read what I’ve written about the subject, already knows what I think of Donald Trump and why I will not be voting for him. For those of you who don’t, I hope to write a bit more about that tomorrow.
I have never cast a write-in vote before, but they say there is a first time for everything. In that regard, I’m quite happy to cast my first write-in vote for an honorable and brilliant man, Gov. Bobby Jindal.

For the general election Caffeinated Thoughts has not made a joint endorsement. Adam Graham, Kelvey and I have endorsed Evan McMullin. I don’t believe anyone else who has contributed here recently has made a public endorsement. Personally, I wanted to find someone who was on the ballot, but as I’ve said time and time and time again people need to follow their conscience not mine. I take it that Brian is not happy with any of the independent/3rd party candidates.
I still believe with Brian that Jindal would have made a fine President, and I have no regrets endorsing him last year. It’s too bad his name isn’t on the ballot.
