RED OAK, Iowa – U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), a combat veteran and motorcycle enthusiast, on Friday, announced Joni’s Ride Across Iowa (JRAI). This two-day motorcycle ride with folks across Iowa will be held from October 10 – 11 and feature a total of six stops across the state. All proceeds will benefit the Puppy Jake Foundation and the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation’s Derecho Disaster Recovery.
At each stop will include a short program with remarks from the foundation, a few words from Joni, and brief media availability.
Due to COVID-19 precautions, we are forgoing a traditional Roast & Ride and instead are thrilled to announce JRAI for fellow motorcyclists across the state to join. All licensed motorcyclists are encouraged to join the ride.
Governor Kim Reynolds, U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley, State Senator Randy Feenstra, State Senator Marianne Miller-Meeks, State Representative Ashley Hinson, and former Congressman David Young have been invited to attend stops in their area.
